Room hire - Functions/Conferences/Meetings
We welcome non-members and rooms are available for hire. It is our aim to provide whatever you need to make the function or event you are planning a success. We strive to provide value for money and be the best in the area at what we do.
Weddings, christenings, birthday parties, anniversary parties, fund-raising parties, Christmas parties, conferences, meetings - whatever your size of event, reception, or celebration, we will try to accommodate it. We have our own in house catering facilities and are able to provide first class hot or cold buffets. Rooms can be configured to whatever best suits your event. The rooms are also available to hire for classes or presentations.
This bar offers comfortable seating and access to the club’s wide range of beers, wines, spirits - and coffee if you prefer.
Meals are served daily.
The Churchill Suite is our most popular function room and can comfortably accommodate up to 180 people for your function. It has a central dance floor with raised and floor-level seating surrounding it. The stage is large enough for a 6 piece band with full sound and lighting rig or a disco. The room is self-contained and is yours for the duration of your function.
It is also ideal for conferences or larger business meetings. The room can be configured to any style you want and is particularly suitable for theatre style presentations. There are raised areas which are ideal for break outs or refreshments. The room has an accessible toilet.
'1882' is a new addition to the club. It can seat 35 people and is ideal for small parties, christenings etc.
We have two full-sized snooker tables.
The Pool Room is situated on the first floor. It is a compact and intimate venue that looks out over Crown Square. There are two excellent pool tables and the room has a private bar and toilet facilities.
